Acceptable Use Policy
What Ephyra may be pointed at, and the safeguards you must leave in place.
Revised · Review copy
Prepared for review, not yet effective. The operator is Keith Abiola Noel, a sole proprietor in Québec, Canada. A public business mailing address, legal review and a French edition must be completed before adoption.
Only systems you may use
Point Ephyra only at repositories, telemetry, forges and accounts that you own or have permission to use. Bug hunting, probes and reproduction runs are for systems you are authorized to test. Do not use Ephyra to scan, probe or test anyone else’s systems without their written permission.
No attacks, deception or abuse
Do not use Ephyra to:
- break the law, exploit children, or threaten or harass anyone;
- write or land malware, backdoors or deliberately vulnerable changes;
- steal credentials, mine cryptocurrency, or impersonate someone in a deceptive way;
- flood forges or people with automated comments, patches or messages;
- infringe anyone else’s rights.
Leave the safeguards intact
Do not:
- try to escape a sandbox or reach another deployment’s data;
- forge approvals or proof, or tamper with quest journals or audit records;
- approve a checkpoint as someone else;
- evade rate limits, spending controls or payment.
An integration we could not verify stays marked unverified. Do not present it as passed.
Keep people where the rules require them
Where law, a contract or your organization’s rules require human review of a change, keep a person at the matching checkpoint. Do not configure autonomous landing for safety-critical, medical, financial or similarly sensitive systems unless you have the controls and authority for it.
Send only the data you need
Remove what is not needed from signals before you send them. Do not send health information, payment card numbers, government identifiers, passwords or private keys unless it is necessary and lawful. Ephyra does not need them to fix code.
Respect other services’ rules
Follow the usage policies of the model providers, coding agents, forges and hosting services you connect. That includes Radicle seed policies and the terms of Tangled, Amp and your model providers.
Reporting and enforcement
Report misuse to ephyra@notorganic.info. For a vulnerability, follow the security page. We may restrict access to services we operate as the Terms of Service describe.
